Contact Devices enables you to set up contact information in order to receive email and/or text alerts you establish through the Alerts Maintenance option on the Settings menu. Adding a contact device is your first step before creating an alert.
Contact Devices Interface
Here are the different fields on the Contact Devices page:

| Reset Filter(s) | This button clears any filter options that have been set. | 
| Add Device | Select when you want to add a new device to receive alerts. | 
| Name | Displays the descriptive name you establish for your contact device. | 
| Type | Options include Email or Phone. | 
| Address | Shows your either email address or your phone number. Phone numbers should be entered in an SMS Gateway format – which lists your phone number as an email address. For example: [email protected] Here’s a list of SMS gateway domains based on popular providers: 
 If your provider is not on the list above, search “[Provider name] SMS Gateway” through your preferred search engine. | 
| Edit | Select this icon to adjust the name, type, or address of the contact device. | 
| Delete | Allows you to delete an existing contact device. |
