Dashboard tasks

The Dashboard is the go to place for using our powerful analytics to compare terminal/product combinations for meaningful and actionable insights and strategies  that are most applicable to you.

The new DTN TIMS Customer Dashboard supports visibility and analytics of inventory balances and activity throughout a configured distribution network. Custom configuration of dashboard views, alerts, and notifications identifies missing or invalid data as well as identifies inventory balances that are outside of min/max tolerances set for terminal and product combinations that are important to you.

All in all, the Dashboard includes an interactive overview of data received, data tickets generated, min/max terminal limit alerts, and a summary of data reported for the current day. You can drill into and analyze the data you care about today by simply clicking or highlighting the information important to you. These drill downs unleash the power of our analytic views.

 You must have at least one User Group assigned in order to see the Dashboard tab. Go to Settings > Preferences to assign a User Group.


Setup prior to running reports

Before you run your reports, you’ll want to do some easy setup through the Settings menu, including:

  1. Creating User Groups
  2. Assigning User Groups to your account
  3. Setting Terminal Min Max Limits for your User Groups
