The Forecast Configuration table lists all Partner/Termina/Product combinations that have been setup for forecasting.

 Be sure to setup User Groups and Terminal Minx Max Limits before creating a Forecast Configuration.

Field Definition
Partner Lists the partner you’ve configured for your forecast.
Terminal Shows the Terminal name.
Product Displays the product code.
Historical Days Indicates how many days the system looks back to retrieve historical data for calculating your forecasts.

Minimum = 1 and Maximum = 180.

Future Days Designate the number of days from the current day you want to system to forecast truck rack out movements.

Minimum = 1 and Maximum = 180.

Active Select edit and check this box if you’d like your forecast configuration to be active. If this box is deselected, it does not display on the dashboard for forecasting.
Edit Allows you to adjust the Historical Days, Future Days, and Active status.

If you select the row, the Forecast details displays below.

Field Definition
Recalculate Regenerates the forecast based on any manual entries that were added to the forecast.
Go To Rundown Goes to the Dashboard > Inventory Reports > Rundown Graph with Details page to display a graphical and grid view of the current and forecasted activity. Opens the report in the same tab.
As Of Date Indicates the date of the terminal ending balance and related activity (historical and forecasted).
Status Statuses include:

  • Actual: Displays the historical data for that day.

  • Current: Displays the current day.

  • Forecast: Shows the predicted amount based on the historical data and any manual entries added to the forecast.

Beginning Volume Designate the number of days from the current day you want to system to forecast truck rack out movements.

Minimum = 1 and Maximum = 180.

Bulk Receipts Bulk shipments of product delivered into the terminal.
Bulk Deliveries Bulk shipments of product delivered out of the terminal.
Truck Rack Out Historical and current truck liftings recorded for each day.
Truck Forecast Forecasted truck liftings calculated for future days.
Truck Forecast Override This space allows you to enter the amount you wish to use for your Truck Forecast.

 The original Truck Forecast still displays in the Truck Forecast column as a reference, but the calculation for your ending volume uses the Truck Forecast Override amount.

Ending Volume Displays the product volume in the Unit of Measurement (UOM) indicated on the Dashboard:

Opening balance + all Bulk Receipts – all Bulk Deliveries – Truck Liftings = Ending Volume.

Notes Allows you to enter notes related to that line.
