Here are the different reports you can run through DTN TIMS:

Overview This report is the first report that appears on the Dashboard to help you manage inventory by exception. It includes the Alerts Summary and Partner Summary panes:

  • Alerts Summary: Shows terminal/product combinations where inventory balances have recently exceeded the minimum and maximum limits you set under Settings > Terminal Min Max Limits.

  • Partner Summary: Displays the most recent overall product inventory balances organized by supply partners.

Both panes display terminal/product combinations for the User Groups selected under Settings > Preferences.

 Dashboard
Quick View Use this report to keep track of the current balances of your assigned terminal/product combinations. It includes the Terminal/Product Balance with Alert Summary, Ending Balance – Terminal Product Graph, and Ending Balance – Detail panes:

  • Terminal/Product Balance with Alert Summary: Lists all terminal/product combinations assigned to you. The grid shows the last ending balance and the associated min/max limits set for the terminal/product combination in Settings>Preferences.

  • Ending Balance – Terminal Product Graph: This shows the graphical historical rundown of the ending balances for the selected terminal/product combination.

  • Ending Balance – Detail: Displays the most recent ending balance along with the beginning balance, all of the receipts (increases) and all deliveries (decreases) used to calculate the ending balance.

Historical – Movement Summary This report displays a historical graphical representation of one or more terminal/product ending inventory balances (defaulting to the past 14 days) to help you analyze historical throughput volume of discrete products in and out of a terminal. It includes the Ending Balance – Historical Graph and Movement Summary – Terminal panes:

  • Ending Balance – Historical Graph: Default 14 day historical graph view of all terminals and products configured. Date ranges can be adjusted and Min/Max levels are displayed. You can select a specific product or a specific product/terminal combination, and adjust the start date and other filters.

  • Movement Summary – Terminal: Displays aggregated quantities by all receipt and delivery types from a specified date up through the current day.

Partner Summary Displays the most recent overall product inventory balances organized by supply partners. Inventory
Rundown Graph with Days to Alert This report identifies terminals/products that require immediate attention. The report displays historical and forecast product inventory and when alerts warning of products in need of immediate attention have and will happen. Alerts are based on your settings in the Terminal Min Max Limits window.

  • Terminal Product Filter with Details: Displays the amount in barrels or gallons that is forecast to be in stock at the end of forecast period and the estimated days until the system will alert you of an inventory issue for that product.

  • Run Down with Alerts Forecast Graph: Displays the daily historical ending balances up through the current date and the forecast balances for up to 180 days..This includes daily beginning balances, all daily receipts (increases) and all daily deliveries (decreases) used to calculate the daily ending balance as well as when low alerts were sent..

  • Run Down with Alerts Detail: Displays the daily historical ending balances up through the current date and the forecasted inventory for up to 180 days. This includes historical and forecasted beginning balances, all daily receipts (increases) and all daily deliveries (decreases) used to calculate the daily balance.

Rundown Graph with Details This report shows a historical graphical representation of one or more terminal/product ending inventory balances over time (defaulting to the past 14 days) to help you analyze recent product movement in and out of a terminal. It includes the Ending Balance – Historical and Ending Balance – Detail Rundown panes:

  • Ending Balance – Historical: Displays the last 14 days of historical ending balance data for each terminal. You can adjust the start date and other filters.

  • Ending Balance – Detail Rundown: Displays the daily historical ending balances up through the current date. This includes daily beginning balances, all daily receipts (increases) and all daily deliveries (decreases) used to calculate the daily ending balance.

Historical Detail with Ending Balance This report displays a historical graphical representation of one or more terminal/product inventory balances over the past day to help you analyze recent product movement in and out of a terminal. It includes the  Ending Balance – Historical, and Ending Balance – Detail panes:

  • Ending Balance – Historical:  Displays the last 14 days of historical ending balance data along with the beginning balance, all of the receipts (increases) and all deliveries (decreases) used to calculate the ending balance. You can adjust the start date and other filters.

  • Ending Balance – Detail: Displays the most recent ending balance along with the beginning balance, all of the receipts (increases) and all deliveries (decreases) used to calculate the ending balance.

Ending Volume Rundown This report allows you to compare the ending volume of products held at multiple terminals. It includes the Ending Balance – Rundown pane:

  • Ending Balance – Rundown: Shows a side-by-side, historical view of daily ending balances for all terminals and all products by partner.

Ending Balance Detail Rundown Use this report if you are interested in comparing volume movement details of products held at multiple terminals. It includes the Ending Balance – Detail Rundown pane:

  • Ending Balance – Detail Rundown: Shows a historical view of daily ending balances with daily receipt and daily delivery details for all terminals and all products.

My Configuration View this report to understand translation and normalization of partner and terminal naming for terminals and products. It includes the My Partner Terminal Product Configuration pane:

  • My Partner Terminal Product Configuration: Shows all terminal and product combinations assigned to you, along with Partner codes to Supplier codes translation for terminal and product description.

Ending Balance Detail Rundown Use this report if you are interested in comparing volume movement details of products held at multiple terminals. It includes the Ending Balance – Detail Rundown pane:

  • Ending Balance – Detail Rundown: Shows a historical view of daily ending balances with daily receipt and daily delivery details for all terminals and all products.

Forecast Quickview This report allows you to easily view, interactive with, and manage your configured forecasts from the graphical view. It includes the Terminal Product Filter, Ending Balance Forecast Quickview Graph, and Ending Balance Details Forecast Quickview pane.

  • Terminal Product Filters: Displays all Forecast Configurations from the Settings > Forecast page. Filter the other two panes by highlighting items in this table.

  • Ending Balance Forecast Quickview Graph: Displays the Historical Days and Forecast Days for the Partner-Terminal and Products setup on the Forecast Configuration page. By default, displays the first Terminal-Plant and Product combination from the Terminal Product Filters table.

  • Ending Balance Details Forecast Quickview: Shows details for the items displayed in the Ending Balance Forecast Quickview Graph pane.
